History of The Temple
A history of this glorious place is very important. Long ago the area of Patana (Vijjalgad) was historically very important in the part of Bharat Varsha in Maharashtra, Vidarbha and Khandesha . Long ago who was rulled over here, he was Mandalika of Yadava’s (King). At in those days htis place was broadened some 4-5 mile. The tallest hilly rampart and several trees made flurished the beauty of nature and in that way this place has became wroth seeing. The highways of the city were very wide and several trees were planted on both the sides. In ancient time because of having metallic mines and trees this city was very popular for the trade, art, knowledge, traffic and temples. This region got into trouble because as on one hand Bahamainshahi was established in Gulbarga while on the other the Moghal Empire from Delhi. For that reason an era of 1216, Islamic theocracy got estblished in place of Hindu religion’s influential province. The four classes of Aryan society and Hindu Dharma had became decrepit and Islami Dharma rulled over here. So this region became effaced.
